Three Native-speaking English Teachers (NETs)
The school generously deploys English resources and employs three NETs. The local English teachers also communicate with students in English outside the classroom, providing a full English environment, allowing students to immerse themselves in the target language and learn English naturally.

Use e-learning tools to enhance pupils’ performance
Our school has participated in the e-learning project of the Quality Education Fund of The Chinese University of Hong Kong as one of the 4 core schools. Teachers learnt to use different e-learning platforms and applications to teach students to learn independently. For example, vocabulary in the Study Journal can be used for self-study and do revision on the Quizlet website using QR Codes. Teachers also use gamification from time to time to consolidate students' existing knowledge and evaluate students’ performance.
We have also joined Space Town Literacy Programme. The teaching of reading has been enhanced through the earlier introduction of guided reading and phonics strategies such as blending and encoding in P1.
The University of Hong Kong has implemented a project to promote the use of virtual reality (VR) technology in English classrooms. Our school will be one of the participating schools. We hope that this will arouse students’ interest in learning English.
